What We Are Looking For:

BlackGirlInc.com is looking for sharp, energetic, and hard working Editorial Contributors who have a passion and zeal for writing positive and meaningful articles that relate to young African American girls.

Each editorial contributor will be assigned to a specific editorial department within the magazine.  The editorial departments are:

1. Fashion and Beauty
2. Entertainment
3. Television and Movies
4. News/Current Events
5. Education
6. Careers
7. Technology
8. Travel
9. Books
10. Writing

Position Requirements:

You must:

• Be passionate about topics of interest to young African American girls
• Be between the ages of 14 and 24 years old
• Be either a college student with a journalism or communication major OR a high school student with a journalism or communication interest
• Possess strong writing skills with the ability to evoke thought-provoking responses
• Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to perform well individually and in a team environment
• Prior blogging experience
• Have an understanding of and good pulse on social and news trends
